FATHER SOLANUS CASEY, OMF, Cap. (1870-1957) was a Capuchin priest who was known for his extraordinary love, trust, faith, and confidence in God. He became widely known as “Detroit’s miracle worker.” When he passed away 25,000 showed up for his memorial Mass at St. Bonaventure on Mt. Elliott.
